Health Education
Students will learn about health and wellness. Students will be able to explain how to balance physical, mental, emotional, and social health. 2016/2017 is the year to make the healthy changes that can help you feel better and live longer!! Health students will complete “Exercise the Right to Read Logs”, in which students are keeping up with what they read and how often they read, as well as the amount of time they participate in physical activity. Regular physical activity can have a positive effect on your child's physical, mental and social development. Forming a positive experience with regular physical activity is so important because we want our students to have lifelong fitness! Your child's regular participation in physical activity can help reduce his/her risk of many adult health problems, such as diabetes, obesity and heart disease. Doing physical activities as a family is also, a great way to spend some quality time with your son or daughter.
